Sales Agency or Contractor representation within the State of Victoria for Energy Efficient Electric Water Heating Solutions and LED Lighting

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an energetic go-getting and high performing Sales Agency or Independent Contractor with demonstrated experience in the plumbing, electrical or, and building industry, capable of driving growth in sales and client acquisition. The Victorian Sales Representative will play a pivoting role in helping Elwa Group strategic sales objectives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Establish relationships with existing and prospective customers, acquiring new business and identifying sales opportunities
  • Leverage on existing relationships and referrals to identify project and sales opportunities
  • Build relationships with all target market segments at all levels of professional engagement, from technicians all the way through to owners/Director
  • Analyse customers’ needs and objectives, aligning solutions to customers’ needs and objectives, creating appealing comprehensive solution proposals and delivering on those solutions
  • Strategically identify and engage with prospective customers
  • Engage fully in all strategic sales campaigns and maintain an accurate activity log in CRM
  • Working closely with our team to action a comprehensive sales plan that includes short-term and long-term objectives, sales forecasts and budgets
  • Maintaining and expressing our competitive advantages through market and competitor analysis
  • Developing strong relationships with key customers and foster partnerships that lead to ongoing opportunities for the Agency business

Selection Criteria:

  • An energetic, proactive, and driven Agency experienced in business development with a strong desire to succeed
  • Proven record in delivering on sales targets, commercial negotiation and sales within the commercial built industry, with the ability to identify and execute opportunities
  • Ability to be agile, adapt and determine strategies and actions for achieving new growth targets
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to secure new and develop existing business opportunities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a “hunter attitude” with the ability to consistently nurture ongoing relationships
  • Build, nurture, and transition relationships effectively face to face using CRM to a variety of sectors
  • A genuine desire and passion for sustainability, and alignment to our mission, values and an ambassador representing our products and services for the benefit of our B2B clients
  • Natural ability to motivate and work with a team, as well as operate with autonomy
